Acalypso
A forgotten child of the sprawling Covingbeck house with a fascination of Flame and a burning desire to visit (and immigrate?) to the Holy Empire.
Aceus
Head of Security for the Canthores palace, a job he obsesses over. His untraceable lineage and obscured history is not questioned in the haven of the Empire.
Ahver
An Originator who works under Uzerin, cataloguing new additions and procuring books for customers. A close coworker of Alexer, whose attentions he finds cute.
Aither
Yerxes' beloved. A chipper and optimistic enabler, oft pitied by Ardor worshippers for his Null Flame and great sacrifice to set the world in motion.
Alcester
The steward of Tine Lumes, and a keen servant skilled enough to critique the Immaculate. Though initially professional, his grudges are downright legendary.
Alkaline
Hailing from a chaotic cycle, Alkaline managed to unify its people despite his discomfort and naivete. Figures it was all futile now, forgotten by time and Evenne.
Alscil
Sovereign of the Corve Territory, and fabulously wealthy off of its supply of skyquartz. Little interest in shaking that status quo or sending cash to the borders.
Amalthea
The High Cleric of Sarens, renown for her eccentric but gentle nature. Highly and strongly attuned to the sunshards, and receives visions from them almost hourly.
Ameretat & Haurvatat
A pair of plant-behemoths who were invited due to the rarity of both their race and being conjoined individuals. Ame is the cheery extrovert, Te the rude introvert.
Anaslavy
Herald of Flora, though he ditches most Herald work and often hides on Evenne during cycles out of distaste for his peers and poor food options in greater FV.
Ancha
The cold and stoic current Ice Queen, though her brother was trained to take the crown. When he failed all his duels for it, she took matters into her own hands.
Angel
A resident of Evenne who caught the eye of Cismin through their passionate speeches and ideals. Wants to remake the Agency as a democratically-elected government.
Ani Kismet
Mewt's personal mage, who adores their job and has attained quite an ego from it. Though not a Dewclaw Captain, they enjoy hearing gossip from/of them.
Aracar
Herald of Fire, who wrecks havoc with lava, steam, and blaze. Or, he once did - as he has fixated on smithing and jewelry-making, forgoing his Herald duties.
Arcane
A historian well-known for being the close friend of Falacer himself. Though he longs to collect artifacts of the old world, fear of danger keeps him on the Isle.
Arscay
The true Director of the Agency, though Quinten has consumed his job. Known for his strange wisdom and clairvoyant advice, it's hard to get a good grasp on his character.
Athrud
The eldest of the last generation of Valkyre, once groomed to lead the family's business. He snapped under the immense pressure and took to freeloading instead.
Blackfuse
A Harbinger Flame with a terrible curse that rots her body. She lived alone in a quiet tower until Peaches purged the decay with his Flame, and continues to heal her.
Braze
A friendly, but strict Flame who often ends up taking new Flames under his wing to teach them about Court and its expectations. Is everywhere at once.
Cemmy
Bearer of a powerful mind-altering Flame, Cemmy's outspoken and bratty attitude leave much to be desired. Thankfully, he still dutifully obeys Quinten's orders.
Cer
The unwilling heir to the Jallvyon family, and the only noble capable of carrying on the family blood, despite his attempts to flee onto ships and travel the world.
Chronus
An isolated oracle able to see into alternate futures, though he finds the ability draining and exhausting. A staunch, loud supporter of Angel's visions for the island.
Cinveindath
A Vetenne - and one who rose to power from the lowest caste. Has hands in many pockets, and is respected for his policies... though teased for his robot obsession.
Cismin
Fervor god of summer, community, and companionship. Many followers worship him primarily, which lends to his bloated ego - which is somehow understated in legends.
Corwynt
Herald of Water, who relishes in the destruction brought by her role - enjoying sinking ships and harassing ports. Finds the other Heralds to be meek and pathetic.
Cyrrdven
The best Potionmaster in the world, truly without equal, who basks in the attention with the expectation of a brat but the skills to match their bark.
Dragon
A mysterious, highly adept behemoth-hunter who appeared one day to much fanfare. Despite his popularity, he dislikes most and adheres to strict morals.
Ente
One of the oldest members of the Agency, and oft considered Quinten's loyal right hand. Seen as a mediator and community manager, he is quite well-liked.
Falacer
A beloved and humble hero-Flame who liberated the Isle from the dictator Adleri Avast, and was rewarded with eternal worship and an endless supply of pie.
Festi
The funerary director for the Agency, bearer of a powerful Flame. He can be found in the catacombs of the island, often fielding religious questions.
Fhalla
Fervor god of spring, fellowship, friendship, and family. He is the most popular of all Fervor gods to worship for his gentle nature and understandable concepts.
Fizen
An upbeat wildlife photographer who works alongside a small team to manage and update Evenne's bestiary, which has tracked creatures from almost every cycle.
Gimme a Fresh Start
A behemoth who refuses to speak of their or their cycle's history, and is instead elated to be chosen to begin a new immortal life on the island of gods.
Gosha
The Emperor's personal guard, whose family has served the crown for generations. She blamed herself heavily for Nereen's death and seeks to prove herself.
Headline
An AI who discovered Evenne during its cycle and requested to join. It assists with the island's records and maintenance with a chipper smile and energy.
Helion
A skilled soot-seer and the Flame who tutored Peaches when he was first brought to Court, despite being notoriously antisocial and difficult to influence.
Hilrem
Once a fellow Esponett with Cin, who later bought his contract. Expected to be freed without caveat, but instead found himself kept more as a pet than a worker.
Iaraidhne
One of the Triune, the mysterious leaders of Vaervan. Disinterested in governing, Irie enjoys studying magic instead - causing conflict between he and Noslyn Roch.
Iclio
Magister Director, and meddler in most business by way of being telepath operator. Though cutthroat and manipulative, he of course values his colony.
Igneous
A drilling manager whose job slipped away with the automation of Evenne's jobs. The only cure to their ennui is contacting their estranged sibling....
Ilex Spindle
One of Fizen's childhood friends who ran an alchemy shop when they first travelled to Evenne. Is now looking for new meaning in a life largely static.
Isinga
Herald of Earth, and known amongst them for being an annoying-but-upbeat tease. Takes most things in stride, including the "being an avatar of destruction" thing.
Jaish
A tired Umersii who owns much of the valuable land in downtown Medirmah and its suburbs. Though he's easy to convince of most policies, he holds deep grudges.
Jather
The current Jallvyon head, seeking to purge a dark secret from the family bloodline at all costs - which requires Cer's unwilling contributions.
Jrigette
A service robot who was separated from his peers and accidentally stoked his own Dominion Flame, granting him sapience. Lives in hiding in the Jasmine Pine Range.
Juliet
An Originator and general security for the Agency, though Evenne's low crime means that he mostly directs people to the right elevators. Likes buying the lobby lunch.
Khamdy
Ardor god of space, contrasted by Xharde. High-strung and easily panicked, and only soothed by the presence of Xharde - a problem, considering he killed himself.
Leigh
An Island Recruiter with a cheerful attitude and a Flame that grants a warm charisma. Has only recently been allowed off-island due to the political unrest.
Lethe
Fervor god of winter, endings, and contradictions. Though Lethe is important, worship of him is rare due to how powerful, alien, and uncomfortable his concepts are.
Levare
An ancient Flame who keeps to himself and travels across the Empire. In recent times, he's settled down on the Jasmine outskirts and has become a local legend.
Lurifax
The only Flame who has discovered the secret of making lifelike robots. Lives alone in his factory with a plethora of robots, as he dislikes the company of 'real' people.
Meria
The Lavaranna family head, and undisputed leader of Sendrea. She inherited the crown after her older sister's death - which was rife with speculation.
Mesechev
The self-effacing Ardor of celestials, who was injured when the suns and moons broke. He fled Chellabra after Mewt Mavet's rise to power, and ended up here.
Narayani
A quiet Flame with the power to render poison-metals inert over time. Their identity has been regretfully consumed by their adherence to their Flame's duty.
Nreme
Herald of Time - in a sense, mortality. A solitude-loving introvert, Nreme avoids his fellow Heralds - save for Isinga, for whom he harbors a romantic soft spot.
Nuka
A confidante of Commander Poizina and a decorated general, despite the tired face. Remains resilient in the face of his country's struggles and keeps a steady pace.
Peaches
The Holy Emperor, bearer of two godly Flames, shrouded in mystery after Nereen's untimely demise. Despite his poise and grace, he was once an illiterate farmboy.
Priori
The head of the Agency's public relations, and a common face to see during festivals and nightly news. His gentle smile and warm aura leave many at ease.
Procaralshaiph
The crude and sadistic Flame of the Marbled Slopes, who turns mortals into statues if they trespass. Believes vocally in the inherent superiority of Flames.
Quinten
The leader of the Provisional Agency, who takes his god-given work with utmost seriousness. Though a bit of a control freak, he is an admirable leader.
Quirmiz
Uzerin's partner-in-crime, and his chosen plus-one to the island. In contrast to his life partner, Quirmiz is quiet, polite, and respectful, close to a wallflower.

Tyche
A Flame who claims his Throne was once a Dominion. He seeks to re-empower it through establishing dozens of inns across the Empire, stamped with his family name.
Uzerin
A god-king poet who ruled his cycle. Bursting with wisdom and a good listening ear, he enjoys debating Evennites and archiving the island's expansive history.

Veles
Herald of Death, and an enigmatic-yet-friendly figure. Said to have blessed the valleys of the Western Dominion, and hidden a powerful artifact there.

Vesta
A introverted and reclusive-yet-popular field agent sent into the greater world to hunt down rare artifacts and bring them back to Evenne for archival.
