Fragment Faction: Original 24
Introduction
The Fragments who take care of and nanny the Original 24 Timelines, the first ever conceived and created. They are an incredible piece of living history and art, being the first stories spun by the creator gods in the early years of the known world. However, their status as ancient and unfinished amateur passion projects has left them in various states of disarray - often missing integral pieces that provided structure and stability to the other Timelines and requiring extensive upkeep by their resident Fragments - these characters - to avoid collapse.
Still, much worth is found in the Originals - as they are wholly separate from the Main Timeline, with completely unique magical foundations, stories, and rules. You can read an informational article about the Timelines on the website here.
Table of Contents
Alpha / Beta / Gamma / Delta / Epsilon / Zeta / Eta / Theta / Iota / Kappa / Lambda / Mu / Nu / Xi / Omicron / Pi / Rho / Sigma / Tau / Upsilon / Phi / Chi / Psi / Omega

Alpha
The first Timeline ever created... wholly corrupted by
Bereave's cruel tortures and influence, it now sits in aching shambles.
More Information
Cascade Circe
Though not born as a Frag, Cascade's conquests as leader of the Mercs has elevated him. Once a rough criminal, Alpha has warped him closer to caring.
Preponderant Respite
A Frag taken under the wing of the Rapture Cult - which seeks to destroy Alpha to put it to rest - half-gold from self-harm and always suffering.
Provenance
An apathetic and exhausted Frag, long corrupted by Alpha's Bereave-induced radiation and long captured by powerful criminal Cascade Circe.
Scoria
The cold, manipulative leader of the Rapture Cult, resolute in his idea that Alpha should be put out of its misery. Has found Cascade more of a nuisance as of late.
Beta
A cold and harsh land, filled with alpine forests and glaciers stained red by
centuries of war and bloodshed, where trust is never a given.
More Information
Aite
A needling and snide self-serving Fragment, convinced that the only way to survive in Beta is by accurately predicting people's behavior.
Amirasya
A cold and distant veteran, sick of Beta's wanton, senseless bloodshed and wanting nothing more than to remain safe in his great cities on the seafloor.
Czenete
The strongest in Beta, smiling down at the others - smug and comfortable in the knowledge that none could topple him or disrupt his enjoyment.
Paradscha
A renown explorer of Beta, Gamma, and voidspace who craves the adoration of mortals under his banner and sees himself as a final bastion if Zirc ever "loses it".
Zirconia
A Beta Fragment - and murderer - who puts on a great show of power and intimidation, but who in truth fears for his life more than anything.
Gamma
Once the producer of the Originals' augmetia,
now long-subjugated and owned by the warlords of Beta.
More Information
Aneurin
A irritable diplomat who has brokered deals with other Timelines for packages of Gamma-mined augmetia for eons - both before and after the Beta occupation.
Beia
Beia was kidnapped to live in Beta instead, under Zirconia's hand... though as Zirc's interest in him has waned, his efforts to assist the rebels have waxed.
Brine
A self-assured cave diver who leads a veritable army of explorers into Gamma's tightest squeezes in search of new mines. Is remarkably down-to-earth for a Fragment.
Eyrie
A cave explorer and spelunker obsessed with his life underground, who rarely sees the sun. Works underneath Brine to find new veins of augmetia.
Mivis
Once chairman of Gamma's council, and helped broker an alliance with Beta... that ended in the invasion and subjugation of Gamma. Appointed as manager still by Beta.
Nalezastria
Extroverted, Nale governs much of the day-to-day of underground Gamma communities and owns many of the industry and supply companies in the tunnels.
Ophyeo
A dedicated worker within Gamma, managing most of the mining companies under Aite and Mivis. Years of being blamed have soured his opinion of the rebellion.
Petyl
An advocate for the cultural unification of Gamma's surface and caver communities, often mistaken as naive for his general kindness and soft-spoken voice.
Pomona
Though in charge of arranging much of the underground's food supply and transferring its excess to the surface, Pomona spends most of his time deep caving and diving.
Sairset
A caver who was captured by Zirconia and brought back to Beta as an unwilling prize. Now Aite has negotiated for his release back to Gamma - a world newly unfamiliar.
Vinnly
A troublesome, self-focused warrior who was once seen as Gamma's best answer to the invaders, only to be flung aside like a gnat. Now plays at being a maid?
Wist
The visible head of Gamma's rebellion, taking orders from the mysterious Austenite. Quick thinking and adaptability have kept him alive and free.
Yrviing
A quiet and hardworking lone wolf caver under Ophyeo who manages careful excavation of new mines and construction of new underground cities.
Delta
Comprised of many nesting layers of reality, the people
of Delta aren't convinced that they've reached the outermost shell....
More Information
Ausana
One half of the remains of Delta's Frags. Talented, idealistic, and somewhat naïve. Wants to imagine a world out from under their creator's hands at any costs.
Ery
One half of the remains of Delta's Frags. Colder, focused, more serious - and overprotective of Ausana. Believes the COR is a liar, just like their cruel creator.
Epsilon
A strange and tortured Timeline, where its people live disparate lives
as many tiny sparks of a fractured infinite timeloop.
More Information
Chomyzi
The depressed and stressed Angel of Epsilon, struggling in all ways to maintain the Timeline's integrity and reduce suffering wherever he can.

Catastrophically destroyed, the lone survivor of Zeta
is its sole Natural Fragment, living now at the COR.
More Information
Ferreon
The quiet, only survivor of Zeta's collapse, riddled with guilt and trauma, now trying to make himself useful at the COR and forge something like a new life.
Eta
The most stable of the Originals, in great part due to
an enormous and blistering magic circle none truly understand the extent of.
More Information
Aryl
Though upbeat Aryl has considerable power as owner of most of Eta's companies, he in truth is terribly lonely - abandoned by his fellow Fragments.
Phenyl
Distrusting that Eta is truly safe - believing that its precious magic circle is nothing more than a bandaid over a festering wound - Phenyl refuses to help manage it.
Xylyl
The creator of the magic circle within Eta, and a devoted researcher of its properties - who wishes for nothing more than to be left alone to research.
Theta
Once closed away from all the other Timelines, in recent years
the elusive and secretive Theta has allowed an alliance with Beta.
More Information
Auroza
A cheerful soul who maintained many relationships during Theta's isolation through use of email, though he obscured his true identity to his friends.
Ciroatys
Though Ciro manages Theta's public relations, arranges its festivals, and handles incoming requests, his true heart belongs firmly with Szeretet, his beloved ex.
Dumortie
A vestige of Theta's once-leader, Dumortis, who died to Bereave long ago. Revived at Vuaria's request, he tries to find a place for himself.
Heera
A shy, nervous, and easily-flustered assistant to Vivinite, only free of crippling anxiety in the warm confines of Theta's basement community.
Meyp
A bit of a vain and lazy practical mage, an enjoyer of being spoilt and hedonism in turn - quite comfortable in the security and safety of Theta.
Radiia
One of few who ventures out of Theta's arcing interiors and ceilings to survey the untamed wilderness beyond, dearly in love with the sun and moon.
Szeretet
A reclusive and abrasive Fragment with an army of constructs that he uses to spy on mortals and, supposedly, keep the peace as Theta's police.
Vivinite
The cheerful and outgoing proprietor of Theta's basement, an underground and sprawling community centered around love and physicality.
Vuaria
Theta's quiet, serious, and world-weary leader that all within ultimately answer to, taking up its torch resolutely after Dumortis stepped down.

With most of its Universe Core melted into voidspace,
the people of Iota had to get creative with their limited space and travel....
More Information

An eccentric Wardmaster who diligently studies Eta's magic circle in order to keep the remaining islands of Iota from collapsing into voidspace.

The founder (and manager!) of most of Iota's expos and events, bubbly and bright and burdened with a hunger for attention... though inside he's dead tired.
Verdell
An isolationist and stalwart protector of the few of Iota's islands not choked by overpopulation, protecting these nature reserves from its hungry industrial maw.
Kappa
Rather than a straight line like other Timelines, Kappa is
shaped like a donut... leading to an array of strange time-based effects.

unto itself, all flesh and bone and blood, determined to protect its residents.
More Information
Aenoxa
Though friendly on the surface, Aenoxa hides a cruel and sadistic streak, feeling safe within Mu's overprotective flesh and enjoying its violence.
Feyrisx
Most Beloved of its Fragments, as decided by Mu itself, stalwart Feyrisx manages the sentient Timeline's erratic behavior and keeps it controlled.
Izallvor
Truly distrustful of the sentient Mu, Izallvor has been searching for a Timeline or Fragment that will let him move in permanently under Feyrisx's nose.
Nu
Eternally cracking apart, the COR installed a construct to
stabilize Nu, only to discover some strange sort of sentience emanating from it.

A Timeline that none have been allowed to enter

Qwerty
Management magicware created to monitor Pi's voidspace holes who underwent sponsen under its creators' noses. Well-meaning, but fundamentally self-interested.

Tau
A humid, hot, and magically-dense jungle, filled with
sentient trees and flora - and a distinct lack of any fauna.

Moon
The cold and efficient religious leader of Chi, serving in Eolith's stead, struggling to hold the Timeline together after his mentor and hero left.
